In 1997, Fire Protection Service Corporation ("FPSC"), a Utah corporation, acquired the JD Davis Company, Inc., a Colorado corporation since 1980. Since that time JD Davis Co. has operated as a wholly-owned subsidiary of FPSC, with separate financial reporting and d/b/a of Mountain Alarm.
As January 1, 2007, we plan to merge JD Davis Co. with and into FPSC and combine our financial reporting into one company. We will continue to operate in the Denver metro area under the name of Mountain Alarm. We believe that the effect of the merger will not have any impact on our day to day operations and will just simplify our administrative costs and make our company’s operations more efficient. We will not be making any changes in the present staff or their positions in the Denver office.
